I buy Federal Top Gun. A good shell at about $55.00/Flat (10 Boxes of 25). Usually found on sale at the bigger sports shops. Reloading is a great way to make em cheap though :-) Read More

Have You Tried Shooting Without A Front Bead Sight On The Barrel?

Mine fell of the gun and I was wondering how much can my shooting be affected by a missing bead? ...

I take a black marker and blacken mine out, allows for total focus on the target and nothing to distract and pull my eyes off of the target. If it starts to lighten up just apply more marker. Read More

I use 1 ounce of #8 from 16-27.  I change chokes as I move back from the 21.  LM from 16-20, M from 21-24, f from 26 to the back line.  This is also a personal preference.  Try diffeerant loads, shot and chokes to see how they effect your shooting. Read More

12ga Vs 20ga Handicap. How Many Would It Take?

Here's the premise: You have two target guns set up exactly the same. One is a 12ga the other ...

Well,  maybe it depends on your game. I shoot competition skeet mostly. My thought is , if I can not score well with the twenty gauge the twelve would not make a difference. In fact When I shoot doubles the recoil recovery is much easier between shots... Read More
