Built on the famous Beesley action with unique assisted opening mechanism, Purdey side-by-sides represent the pinnacle of British gunmaking. Each gun entirely bespoke, individually numbered, requiring over 750 man-hours to complete. The design has remained essentially unchanged since the 1880s. Hand-crafted by 35 master gunsmiths at Hammersmith factory using primarily hand tools. Accurate to less than half a thousandth of inch. Represents the classic British game gun. Available in any gauge as bespoke production. Located in Hammersmith, London, producing fewer than 100 guns annually.
