First NSCA registered shoot coming up - what should I expect?

Just signed up for my first NSCA registered shoot next month. I've only shot at my local club's fun shoots before. I'm using a Beretta A400 Xcel with a Modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 loads. Nervous about the whole process - do I just show up and shoot?

Welcome to registered shoots! First off, don't stress - everyone was a beginner once. You'll want to arrive at least an hour early to check in, pay any fees, and get your scorecard. They'll assign you to a squad, usually 4-6 shooters. Bring your own shells (your Federal loads are perfect for sporting clays), eye/ear protection, and maybe a shell pouch. The squad will rotate through stations together, and you'll keep score for the shooter next to you. It's actually pretty relaxed once you get going. What club are you shooting at?
