First NSCA registered shoot coming up - what should I expect?
Just signed up for my first NSCA shoot next month and I'm a bit nervous. I've only shot at my local club's fun shoots before. I'll be using my Beretta A400 Xcel with a Modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 loads. What's the day actually like at a registered event?

Hey, welcome to the registered shoot world! First off, don't sweat it - everyone was new once. A typical NSCA registered shoot starts with check-in where you'll get your scorecard and squad assignment. You'll shoot 100 targets across 10-12 stations with presentations like true pairs, report pairs, and maybe some rabbits. Bring a shell pouch, ear/eye protection, and a positive attitude. Most squads are super helpful to newcomers - just let them know it's your first time. What club are you shooting at?
