Squad etiquette question for my first NSCA registered shoot
I'm signed up for my first NSCA registered shoot next month at Pintail Point. I've shot local club stuff for about 2 years with buddies, but never a big registered event. My main worry is squad etiquette - I don't want to be 'that guy' who slows everyone down or does something dumb. I shoot a Beretta A400 Xcel with a 30" barrel, usually running 1oz #8s at 1200fps. What are the unspoken rules I should know?

First off, congrats on taking the step to registered shoots - you'll love it! Biggest thing is just being ready when it's your turn. Have your shells out, safety on until you're in the box, and know your shooting order. Most squads are super friendly to new shooters, so just tell them it's your first registered event. Don't be afraid to ask the scorer or squadmates if you're unsure about a presentation or rule. One pro tip: watch where you place your shell bag so it's not in anyone's way. What chokes are you planning to run for that shoot?
