Just shot my first NSCA registered shoot - how do I know if my score qualifies for classification?

Shot my first NSCA registered 100-target event last weekend with my Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting. Finished with an 82. I've been shooting casually for about 2 years but this was my first registered event. Do I need to shoot more registered events before I get classified, or does this score automatically put me somewhere?

Good job getting out to your first registered shoot! For NSCA, you need 300 registered targets before you get an official classification. Your 82 will count toward that total, but you'll need to shoot a couple more events to hit that 300-target minimum. Once you do, they'll average your best 100 from your last 300 targets to determine your class (AA, A, B, C, D). Keep shooting registered events - that 82 is a solid start for someone with your experience. What choke setup were you running on that A400?
