Squad etiquette question - is it rude to ask to see someone's scorecard?
Just shot my first registered NSCA event last weekend. On my squad, one guy kept asking to see everyone's scorecards after each station. He said he was 'keeping track of the squad.' Felt a little intrusive, especially when I was having a rough patch. Is this normal, or was he out of line?

That's definitely not standard etiquette. In NSCA registered shoots, each shooter is responsible for their own scorecard, and the scorer verifies it with them. Asking to see others' cards unprompted is unusual and can feel like pressure, especially for newer competitors. Most squads just focus on their own targets and maybe call lost birds for each other. I'd politely decline next time - a simple 'I'm good, thanks' usually works. Did the shoot director or other squad members say anything about it?
