First NSCA registered shoot coming up - what should I expect?

Just signed up for my first NSCA registered shoot next month and I'm a bit nervous. I've only shot at my local club's fun shoots before. I'll be using my Beretta A400 Xcel with a Modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 loads. What's the main difference between a registered event and a casual club day?

Hey, welcome to the registered shoot world! The biggest difference you'll notice is the pace and structure - everything runs on a tight schedule with squads starting exactly on time. You'll need to check in at registration, get your scorecard, and they'll assign you to a squad. Expect more challenging target presentations too - longer shots out to 35-40 yards, more quartering angles, and true pairs instead of just report pairs. Don't stress about your score, just focus on learning the flow. What's the name of the shoot you're attending?
