Step by Step
Check In at the Pro Shop
Sign waiver, pay for round, pick up rental gun and shells. Mention you're new to five stand.
Read the Menu
Each station has a "menu" card showing which targets you'll see and in what order. Study it before shooting.
Watch View Targets
You can ask to see any target before shooting. Watch where it goes, how fast, what angle.
Shoot Your Round
5 targets at each station, then rotate right. Squad shoots in order, one person at a time.
First-Timer Tips
- Study the menu—know what's coming before you call "Pull"
- Watch experienced shooters—see where they break each target
- Ask for view targets—it's normal and expected
- Rent first, buy later—try different guns before investing. When ready, a local dealer can help with fitting.
