History

Introduced after Akkar pioneered Turkey's first pump-action shotgun in 1992. The Karatay 612 Series offers multiple configurations: 612 Black (hunting), 612 HD (home defense), 612 PS (tactical), and 612 Torso (compact). Features Picatinny rail, ghost ring sights, fiber optic front sight, and capacities from 5+1 to 8+1 rounds. Barrel lengths range from 14.9" (Torso) to 28" with 3" and 3.5" magnum chambers. Available in Black, Titanium, OD Green, and Armor Black finishes. Used in IPSC competition. Akkar exports 98% of production (80% to USA), making them Turkey's leading shotgun exporter with 80,000+ units annually.
