Struggling with consistency on station 8 at my local sporting clays course
Been shooting for about 2 years now, mostly sporting clays. I'm using a Browning Citori with a modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8 oz #8 loads. I can hit most targets fine, but station 8 with that high crossing bird always gets me. I've tried leading it more, but I'm either behind or way over it.

Station 8 can be tricky - that high crosser messes with a lot of folks. With a modified choke and #8 shot, you've got a good setup for it. Try focusing on keeping your head down on the stock and swing through the target rather than trying to calculate a lead. Sometimes we lift our head to see the break and that throws everything off. What's your foot position like when you call for that bird?
