Anyone else find station 8 at skeet way harder than the rest?

Been shooting skeet for about 2 years now with my Beretta A300 Outlander. I can consistently break 22-23 on stations 1-7, but station 8 just kills me. I'm using an Improved Cylinder choke and 1-1/8 oz of #8 shot at 1200 fps. Just can't seem to get the timing right on that high house bird.

Station 8 trips up a lot of folks, you're not alone. That high house target on 8 is deceptively fast - it's actually the fastest target in skeet. Try starting with your gun mounted and your eyes focused about halfway between the house and the crossing point. Don't wait to see it, start your swing as soon as it appears. What helped me was practicing just station 8 for a whole round. Are you shooting from a low gun or pre-mounted position?
