Anyone else find their pattern gets too tight with a full choke on sporting clays?

Been shooting for about 2 years now, mostly with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I've been using a full choke for everything, thinking tighter is better, but I'm noticing I'm dusting targets at 20-25 yards but missing more on the closer, faster stuff like station 8 rabbits. Using Federal Top Gun 7.5 shot at 1200 fps. Am I over-choked?

Yeah, you're definitely over-choked for a full sporting clays course. A full is great for those long crossers and true pairs, but it'll kill you on close-quarter stuff. Most guys I shoot with run an Improved Cylinder or Light Modified for 90% of targets, only switching to a Mod or Full for specific long stations. Try an IC for your next round and see if those close targets don't break easier. What other chokes do you have in your set?
