Struggling with crossing targets on station 3 at my local NSCA course

Been shooting for about 2 years and my scores are stuck. On station 3, I'm consistently missing the crossing targets, especially the left-to-right report pair. I'm using a Browning Citori with an improved cylinder choke, shooting 1-1/8 oz of #8 shot at 1200 fps. I've tried a sustained lead but feel like I'm always behind.

Station 3 can be tricky! With that crossing report pair, try switching to a pull-away method. Start with your muzzle just ahead of the bird, match its speed, then pull away smoothly as you fire. Your Browning and load are fine for that target. Are you keeping your head down on the stock through the whole swing? That's often the culprit when you're feeling behind.
