Struggling with consistency on long crossers at FITASC Compak - is it my lead method or my setup?

Been shooting FITASC Compak for a couple years now, but those long crossers on stations 3 and 4 at 35+ yards are killing me. I'm using a Browning 725 with a Modified choke, shooting 1-1/8 oz of #7.5 at 1200 fps. I've tried both sustained and pull-away leads, but I'm either missing behind or overleading. Anyone else run into this?

I've been there with my Beretta 694. On those long crossers, I found my issue was actually trigger timing more than lead. With sustained lead, I was slowing my swing at the shot. Try focusing on maintaining your swing speed through the trigger pull - it's more about rhythm than measuring distance. Also, consider tightening up to Improved Modified for those yardages with #7.5s. What's your pre-shot routine look like on those stations?
