Can't seem to hit anything with my new Beretta A300 - what am I doing wrong?
Just got into sporting clays and picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander with a modified choke. I'm shooting Federal Top Gun 7.5 shot at 25-30 yards. I keep missing behind the targets, especially on crossing shots from stations 3 and 4. I've tried aiming right at them but nothing connects.

Welcome to the sport! Sounds like you're experiencing the classic 'shooting behind' issue most beginners face. With crossing targets, you need to lead them - try starting with the sustained lead method: mount your gun, establish your lead (start with about 2-3 feet for those stations), and maintain that gap as you swing and pull the trigger. Don't aim at the target, aim where it's going. Also, make sure you're not lifting your head off the stock - that'll throw everything off. What's your eye dominance situation? That can really affect your lead perception.
