Can't seem to hit crossing targets consistently with my new Beretta A300
Just got into sporting clays a few months ago. I'm using a Beretta A300 with a Modified choke and Federal Top Gun 7.5 shot at 1,200 fps. On stations with true crossing targets, like station 3 at my local club, I keep missing behind. I've tried swinging through and pulling away, but nothing feels right.

Hey, welcome to the sport! That's a classic beginner issue - I did the same thing for months. With true crossers, try focusing on the target's beak or front edge, not the whole bird. Start your gun mount with the muzzle just ahead of the target's line, then match its speed and pull the trigger without stopping your swing. For that Modified choke at 25-30 yards, you've got plenty of pattern. Next time out, try just watching the target for a few shots without shooting - see if you can call where your shot would have gone. What's your foot position like on those stations?
