Can't hit crossing targets consistently with my Beretta A300

Hey all, new shooter here. I'm struggling hard with crossing targets, especially station 4 at my local NSCA club. I'm using a Beretta A300 with a modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 loads. I feel like I'm pointing at the bird but always seem to shoot behind it. I've tried swinging faster, but it's not working.

Welcome to the sport! That's a classic issue - you're likely stopping your swing when you pull the trigger, which is super common for beginners. Instead of trying to swing faster, focus on maintaining a smooth follow-through. Pick up the target, swing through it, and keep the gun moving as you fire. For station 4, try starting with your muzzle just ahead of the trap house and let the target come to your gun. What's your foot position like on that station? That can make a big difference in your swing.
