Just got a Browning Citori 12ga - what factory chokes should I start with for trap?

Hey all, brand new shooter here. Just picked up a Browning Citori 12 gauge and I'm heading to the trap range this weekend. The gun came with a set of factory chokes (improved cylinder, modified, full). I'll be shooting from the 16 yard line with standard 1-1/8 oz #7.5 target loads. Which choke should I screw in to start?

Welcome to the sport! For 16 yard trap with your setup, I'd start with the Modified choke. That's the sweet spot for most folks - gives you a good pattern density without being too tight. I shoot a Beretta 686 with a Modified choke from the 16 yard line with similar Federal Top Gun loads and break 23-24 consistently. The Full choke can be a bit unforgiving for a beginner if your swing isn't perfect. Give the Modified a try for a few rounds and see how it feels - are you planning to shoot singles or trying handicap later?
