Just got a Beretta A300 Outlander for clays - what choke should I start with?

I'm brand new to sporting clays and just picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander. It came with a set of factory chokes but I'm not sure which one to use. I'll be shooting at my local club where most stations are 20-35 yards. Should I just stick with the Modified that came installed or try something else?

For a beginner with an A300 on sporting clays, I'd recommend starting with Improved Cylinder. It gives you a good balance - enough pattern to break close targets but still decent reach out to 35 yards. Modified is a bit tight for a lot of the closer stations you'll see as a beginner. I ran IC in my A300 for my first year and it worked great with 7.5 shot at 1200fps. What loads are you planning to shoot?
