Just got my first O/U - what chokes should I start with for trap?
Picked up a used Browning Citori 12 gauge and it came with a set of Carlson's chokes. I'm brand new to trap and have only shot a few rounds so far. The chokes are marked LM, IM, and F - which ones should I screw in for the 16 yard line?

Great choice on the Citori - solid gun to learn on. For the 16 yard line, I'd start with Improved Modified (IM) in the bottom barrel and Modified (M) or Light Modified (LM) in the top. That IM will give you a nice, consistent pattern at that distance without being too tight. Factory chokes are fine to learn with, but once you get your rhythm down, you might want to experiment with something like a Briley extended choke for a little more forgiveness. What loads are you shooting with it?
