Just got a Beretta A300 Outlander for trap - what choke should I start with?

I'm brand new to shotgun sports and just picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander for trap shooting. The gun came with a set of factory chokes (IC, M, IM, F). I've been using the Improved Cylinder for my first few rounds at the local club, hitting maybe 15/25 from the 16-yard line. Should I stick with that or switch to something tighter?

Stick with that Improved Cylinder for now - it's actually a great starting point for 16-yard trap. The A300 is a solid gun, and IC gives you a nice forgiving pattern at that distance. Once you're breaking 20+ consistently, you might try moving to Modified for a slightly denser pattern, especially on those longer second shots. What loads are you shooting with it?
