Just got my first shotgun - do I need to buy aftermarket chokes or are the factory ones okay?
I picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander for trap shooting. It came with three factory chokes (IC, M, F). I'm shooting Federal Top Gun 7.5 shot at 16 yards. Should I invest in something like Briley or Carlson's right away, or will these factory chokes work fine for a beginner?

Honestly, stick with those factory chokes for now - they're perfectly fine for getting started. Beretta's factory chokes are actually pretty decent quality. The IC (improved cylinder) is great for 16-yard trap, and the M (modified) will work well if you move back to handicap yardage later. Once you've shot a few thousand rounds and really understand your patterns, then maybe look at aftermarket options. What's your average score looking like with that setup so far?
