Just got a Beretta A300 Outlander - what factory loads should I start with for trap?

Hey all, brand new to the sport and just picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander 12ga. I've been shooting trap a few times with borrowed guns and want to get my own setup dialed in. I'm seeing so many options at the store - Federal Top Gun, Winchester AA, Remington STS - and I'm not sure where to begin. My local range has trap out to 27 yards.

Great choice on the A300 - that's a solid starter gun that'll run just about anything. For trap, you can't go wrong with either Winchester AA or Remington STS in 1-1/8 oz of #7.5 or #8 shot. They're both clean-burning and consistent, which is what you want when you're learning. Start with a Modified choke and see how your patterns look at 16 and 27 yards. What choke are you running right now?
