Just got a Beretta A300 Outlander for trap - what factory shells should I start with?
Hey all, brand new to shotgunning here. Picked up a Beretta A300 Outlander with a Modified choke for trap shooting at my local club. I've been reading about different loads but honestly feel overwhelmed by all the options. Just want something reliable that won't beat me up too much while I'm learning.

Welcome to the sport! For your A300 with a Modified choke, you can't go wrong starting with Federal Top Gun or Winchester AA Light Target loads in 7.5 or 8 shot. They're both super consistent, have manageable recoil, and will break targets just fine at 16-yard trap. I'd grab a few boxes of each and see which one patterns better for you - sometimes one brand just "fits" a particular gun better. What's your local club like - are you shooting singles trap to start?
