Beretta 686 vs Browning 725 for sporting clays - which handles better on long crossers?

I've been shooting a Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon for years and love it, but recently tried a friend's Browning 725 and it felt amazing on station 8 at my local club. Those long left-to-right crossers at 40+ yards just seemed to break easier. My 686 has 30" barrels with modified/improved modified chokes, and I shoot 1-1/8 oz #8 loads at 1200 fps.

I've shot both extensively and think it comes down to the Browning's slightly higher rib and more forward balance point. The 725 tends to swing smoother on sustained leads, especially on those long crossers where you're tracking for a couple yards. Try putting a bit more weight forward on your 686 - sometimes just adding an ounce to the forend changes the dynamic enough. What's your LOP on the Beretta compared to the Browning you tried?
