Anyone else notice their Perazzi MX8 shoots a bit high with factory chokes?
Been shooting my MX8 for about a year now, mostly sporting clays. I'm consistently hitting just above targets on true pairs and report pairs. Using factory flush chokes (IC/M) with 1-1/8 oz 7.5s at 1200 fps. Stock dimensions are factory standard - 14.5" LOP, 1.5" drop at comb. Wondering if this is a common thing with Perazzis or if I need to look at my mount.

Yeah, I've heard that from a few Perazzi shooters. Their factory stocks tend to have a bit more drop at heel than some other brands, which can make you shoot high if you're not getting consistent cheek weld. Before changing anything, try patterning it at 40 yards with your usual ammo - you might be surprised how high it's actually shooting. If it's consistently 60/40 or higher, a good stock fitter could add a bit of cast or adjust the comb height. What's your usual mount like - do you feel solid on the stock every time?
