Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting vs Browning Maxus Sporting for sporting clays

I've been shooting sporting clays for about 2 years now and my old Remington 1100 is starting to show its age. Looking to upgrade to a dedicated sporting semi-auto. I've narrowed it down to the Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting and Browning Maxus Sporting. Anyone have experience with both? Mainly shoot 1-1/8 oz loads at 1200 fps.

I've owned both - shot the Maxus for 3 seasons before switching to the A400 Xcel. The A400's kick-off system really does make a difference on those long 100-bird days, especially with the heavier loads. The Maxus is a bit lighter and swings quicker, but the A400 feels more balanced to me on crossing targets. Both are super reliable - I'd say try shouldering both if you can, but you can't go wrong with either. What's your budget looking like?
