Beretta 692 vs Browning 725 for sporting clays - anyone else struggle with this choice?
I've been shooting a Beretta 686 for years but want to upgrade to something more competition-focused. I'm torn between the Beretta 692 and Browning 725 - both feel great when I shoulder them. My local club has mostly 40-60 yard targets with some tricky quartering birds. Anyone have experience with both on longer presentations?

I've owned both - shot the 692 for two seasons before switching to a 725. For those longer 60-yard targets, I found the 725's slightly higher rib and more forward balance helped me maintain a smoother swing. The 692 is fantastic on mid-range stuff, but when I got tired late in a 100-bird event, the Browning just tracked better for me. What's your current 686 set up with for chokes on those long stations?
