Beretta A400 vs Browning Maxus for sporting clays - can't decide!

Been shooting a Mossberg 500 for about two years, mostly trap and some informal sporting clays. I'm ready to upgrade to a semi-auto for the softer recoil and faster follow-ups. I've narrowed it down to the Beretta A400 Xcel and the Browning Maxus Sporting, both in 12ga. Shot both at my local range and honestly, they both felt great. Just can't make the final call.

Tough choice, both are fantastic guns. I've owned an A400 Xcel for 5 years now and put thousands of rounds through it. The big thing for me was the reliability - it eats everything from light 7/8 oz target loads to 3" magnums without a hiccup. The Browning is a bit lighter, so some folks find it swings a touch faster. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. Which one felt more natural when you mounted it quickly on a crossing target?
