Looking at a used Browning Citori 725 for sporting clays - what should I check?

Found a used Browning Citori 725 12ga at my local shop, asking $2,200. It's a 30" barrel with an adjustable comb, looks clean. I've been shooting a Beretta A300 for about two years and want to step up to an O/U for sporting clays. What are the key things I should inspect on a used over/under before buying?

Good find! The 725 is a solid sporting clays gun. First, check the lockup - open it and wiggle the barrels side-to-side, there should be zero play. Look for any cracks in the wood around the action, especially the wrist area. Ask to see the choke tubes and make sure they're not seized or cross-threaded. Finally, pattern it if they'll let you - throw a few shells through to check function. What's the condition of the bluing and wood finish?
