Anyone else notice a difference in swing feel between 30" and 32" barrels on sporting clays?

I've been shooting a Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon with 30" barrels for years and love it for skeet. Recently picked up a used Browning 725 with 32" barrels for sporting clays. The Browning feels like it wants to keep swinging past my target - almost like it has more momentum. Is this just in my head or have others experienced this?

Definitely not in your head - that extra 2" makes a real difference in swing dynamics. The longer barrels shift the balance point forward, creating more inertia once you get the gun moving. Try focusing on starting your swing a fraction earlier and using more of a push-pull technique rather than pure arm swing. What choke setup are you running in that 725? Sometimes tightening up the choke can help with that 'over-swing' feeling on longer crossing targets.
