Beretta A400 Xcel Sporting - what's a good choke setup for sporting clays?

I've been shooting my A400 Xcel for about a year now, mostly at my local club's sporting clays course. I've been using the factory flush chokes (IC and M) that came with it, but I feel like I'm missing more birds on the longer stations, especially those 40+ yard crossing shots. Shooting mostly 1-1/8 oz #8 loads at 1200 fps. Should I be looking at aftermarket extended chokes?

The factory chokes are decent, but for sporting clays you'll definitely want more options. I'd recommend picking up a set of extended chokes - Briley or Muller are both great choices. For most courses, I run Light Modified for close stuff, Improved Modified for mid-range, and Full for those long crossers. The extended chokes give you better patterns and are easier to change between stations. What distances are you struggling with most - the true 40+ yard stuff or more like 30-35 yard crossing shots?
