Anyone else notice their Perazzi MX8 shooting a bit high with factory chokes?
Been shooting my MX8 for about a year now, mostly sporting clays. Lately I've been missing more high house targets than usual, especially on station 3 where the bird is rising. Using factory flush chokes (IC and M) with 1-1/8oz #8 loads at 1200fps. Gun fits me well otherwise - 14-3/4" LOP, 1-1/2" drop at comb.

Yeah, I've seen that with my MX8 too. The factory chokes tend to pattern a bit high compared to aftermarket ones. Try switching to a tighter choke for the bottom barrel - maybe a Light Modified or Modified - and keep the top at IC. The tighter pattern will center better. What distance are you breaking most of your targets at? Might also be worth checking your rib height if you're consistently high.
