Struggling with true pairs on Station 7 at my local course - any tips?
I've been shooting sporting clays for about 2 years and usually do okay, but Station 7 at my club has a true pair that's killing my score. It's a crossing rabbit followed by a high overhead teal. I'm shooting a Browning Citori 725 with an IC choke and 1-1/8 oz #8 loads at 1200 fps. I keep hitting the rabbit but missing the teal completely.

That's a classic tough station! I shoot a similar setup with my Beretta 686. For true pairs like that, try focusing on the second target first in your mind - the teal requires more lead than you think, especially after the rabbit. I'd switch to a Modified choke for that station to tighten up your pattern on the teal. Also, make sure you're not rushing the second shot - take a breath after the rabbit. What distance is that teal coming at you? Might need to adjust your lead if it's further out than you realize.
