Struggling with true pairs on station 7 at my local course - any tips?
Been shooting sporting clays for about 2 years now, but I keep dropping the second bird on true pairs, especially on station 7 where they throw a crossing rabbit followed by a high teal. I'm shooting a Beretta A400 Xcel with an IC choke, using Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 at 1200fps. My footwork feels okay, but I'm consistently behind on the teal.

That's a classic tough station! For true pairs, try focusing on the first target only - really commit to breaking it cleanly before even thinking about the second. On that teal, you might be swinging through too slow. Try starting with your muzzle already at the break point and just maintaining lead instead of chasing. What's your gun mount like on the second shot - are you coming off your cheek? Might want to try a slightly tighter choke like Mod for that distance too.
