Just started sporting clays and rabbits are destroying me

I'm a total newbie, just shot my first round last weekend. I can hit most of the crossing targets okay, but those rabbit presentations at Station 3 just roll right under my pattern every time. I'm using a Beretta A300 with the factory modified choke and Federal Top Gun 1-1/8 oz #8 loads. Do I need a different choke or am I just aiming wrong?

Welcome to the sport! Rabbits are tricky for everyone at first. With your setup, I'd actually open up to an improved cylinder choke - that'll give you a wider pattern to catch those low rollers. Don't aim at the rabbit itself, shoot where it's going to be and keep your swing smooth and low. Try lowering your cheek weld a bit on your stock too. What distance were those rabbits at - were they close or further out?
