Just started sporting clays - what choke should I use for most stations?
I'm brand new to sporting clays and just bought a Beretta A300 Outlander. I've been using the modified choke it came with for everything, but I'm missing a lot of targets. At my local course, I'm struggling with both close rabbits and high crossing birds. Should I be switching chokes between stations?

Welcome to the sport! For a beginner, I'd recommend starting with an improved cylinder choke for most sporting clays stations - it gives you a good balance for the variety of targets you'll see. I run IC in my Browning Citori for probably 80% of the shots on my home course. For those rabbits and close stuff, you might even try cylinder or skeet chokes. What distances are you typically seeing at your local course? That'll help dial in better choke recommendations.
