Struggling with those long crossers on Station 7 at my local course

At my club, Station 7 has a true pair with a left-to-right crosser that feels like it's 40 yards out. I'm using a Beretta 686 with an Improved Cylinder choke and 1-1/8 oz of #8 shot at 1200 fps. I keep hitting the first target fine but missing behind on the second one consistently. Is it my lead, my choke, or something else?

That's a classic tough station! For a 40-yard crosser, Improved Cylinder might be a bit open—you're probably getting a thin pattern at that distance. I'd try a Light Modified or Modified choke. On the lead, for that second target, try imagining you're pointing at a spot about 4-5 feet in front of it. Also, make sure you're not stopping your swing after the first shot; keep that gun moving smoothly. What's your foot placement like when you address that pair?
