Just started sporting clays and rabbits are killing me
I'm really struggling with rabbit targets at my local course. They seem to roll so fast and I'm always behind them. I'm shooting a Beretta A300 Outlander with a modified choke, using Federal Top Gun 7.5 shot. At station 3, the rabbit comes out of the brush and rolls about 25 yards. I've tried leading it more but still missing low.

Rabbits are tricky for everyone at first! The key is to keep your head down on the stock and focus on the leading edge of the target, not the whole thing. With a modified choke at that distance, you're good, but try swinging through from underneath rather than trying to lead from above - it's rolling away from you, so you need to push the muzzle along the ground. What's your foot position like on that station? Sometimes setting up with your weight forward helps track those low rollers better. Also, have you tried a slightly faster load like 1,200 fps? Might give you a bit more margin for error.
