Just started sporting clays and can't hit those dang rabbits!
I'm a total newbie, just got my first shotgun (Browning Citori 12ga) and have been to the local course a few times. Station 3 has these rabbit targets that roll along the ground and I'm whiffing every single one. I'm using a modified choke and 1oz #8 loads at about 1200fps. What am I doing wrong?

Welcome to the sport! Those rolling rabbits trip up a lot of folks at first. With a modified choke and #8s, you've got a decent setup, but you're probably shooting where the target *was* instead of where it's *going*. Try swinging through the target and maintaining your lead as it rolls - imagine you're painting a line with your barrel. Also, don't be afraid to get your body lower, almost like you're crouching a bit, to match the target's plane. What's your foot position like when you're setting up for that station?
