Just started sporting clays - what choke should I use for most stations?
I'm brand new to sporting clays and just got a Beretta A300 Outlander. I've been using the modified choke it came with for everything, but I'm missing a lot of targets, especially the longer ones. At my local course, stations range from 20 to 40 yards with different presentations. Should I stick with one choke or switch between stations?

Welcome to the sport! For a beginner, I'd recommend starting with an improved cylinder choke for most stations - it gives you a good pattern spread for those 20-30 yard targets. I use IC for probably 70% of my shots on a typical course. For those longer 40-yard stations, switch to modified or even full if you're comfortable. Honestly, I shot my first year with just IC and modified and did fine - don't overthink it! What shells are you using with that A300?
