Struggling with true pairs on station 7 at my local course

At my club, station 7 has a true pair with a crossing rabbit and a high teal. I'm consistently missing the second bird. I'm shooting a Beretta A400 Xcel with an IC choke, using Federal Top Gun 1-1/8 oz #8 at 1200 fps. I've tried focusing on the first target and then swinging to the second, but I'm always late.

True pairs can be tricky! With that setup, you're on the right track with the IC choke and #8 shot for that distance. The key is to not wait for the first shot to break before starting your move. As soon as you pull the trigger on the rabbit, your eyes and gun should already be swinging to pick up the teal. Some shooters even say to start the swing before the first shot. Try practicing your foot position too - make sure you're set up to swing smoothly from low to high. What's your footwork like on that station?
