Struggling with true pairs on station 7 at my local course - any tips?

My club's station 7 has a true pair with a crossing rabbit and a high overhead going away. I'm consistently hitting the rabbit but missing the overhead. Using a Beretta 686 with IC choke, shooting 1-1/8oz #8 at 1200fps. Tried leading more but still dropping it behind.

That's a tough presentation - I've seen many shooters struggle with that exact pair. For true pairs, you need to shoot the first target where you'll have the best position for the second. Try hitting the overhead first since it's the harder shot, then drop to the rabbit. The overhead is probably 35-40 yards out - you might want to tighten up to a Modified choke. Are you keeping your head down on the stock through both shots?
