Struggling with true pairs on station 7 - rabbit then high crosser

At my local club, station 7 has a true pair with a rabbit that rolls about 25 yards, then a high crosser from the right tower about 40 yards out. I keep missing the second bird. I'm shooting a Browning Citori 725 with Mod/Full chokes, using Federal Top Gun 1-1/8oz #8 at 1200fps. My footwork feels off trying to transition from low to high.

That's a tough presentation! I'd suggest opening up your chokes - try IC/Mod instead. For footwork, set up with your weight slightly forward for the rabbit, then as you break it, shift your weight back and pivot on your heels to pick up the crosser. Don't rush the transition - the second bird gives you time. What's your lead looking like on that crosser?
