Struggling with sustained lead on long handicap targets from 27 yards

Been shooting American Trap for about 5 years and just moved back to the 27-yard line. I'm consistently behind the targets, especially on station 5. Using a Browning Citori CX with a Modified choke, shooting 1-1/8 oz of #8 shot at 1200 fps. I've tried increasing my lead but it feels like I'm just guessing.

That 27-yard line is a different beast, especially on station 5 where the angle really opens up. With your setup, try focusing on the target's front edge and maintain a steady gun movement through the shot - don't stop your swing. For those long ones, I use about a 4-5 foot lead with my Beretta 686 and Full choke. What's your foot position like on station 5? Sometimes just opening up your stance a bit more toward the house can help with that follow-through.
