Struggling with sustained lead on long handicap targets

I've moved back to the 27-yard line in American Trap and my break percentage on the long lefts and rights has dropped from 90% to maybe 70%. I'm using a Browning Citori with a Modified choke, shooting 1-1/8 oz of 7.5 shot at 1200 fps. I've tried pulling away but I'm either behind or overleading and missing over the top. Anyone else hit this wall?

Been there! At 27 yards, that Modified choke is probably a bit tight - I'd try an Improved Cylinder for those angles. On the long lefts, try focusing on the target's leading edge and maintain your swing through the shot instead of trying to 'snap' ahead. What's your foot position like on station 1 for that left angle? Sometimes just opening up your stance a hair gives you that extra rotation. For me, switching to 8 shot at that distance helped get a denser pattern without overleading.
