Struggling with station 3 left-angle targets in Olympic Trap - any tips?
Been shooting Olympic Trap for about a year now, mostly with my Beretta DT11. I can handle the straightaways and right angles fine, but those left-angle birds from station 3 keep getting away. I'm using a Modified choke with Federal Gold Medal 1-1/8 oz #7.5 loads. Feels like I'm either overleading or hesitating.

Station 3 lefties are tricky - they're the fastest angle in the game. Try setting up with your left foot slightly forward and really focus on keeping your head down on the stock. For me, a sustained lead works better than pull-away on those - I hold just outside the right edge of the house and swing through. What's your foot position like? Might also try tightening to Improved Modified if you're getting thin patterns at that angle.
