Station 4 high house in American Skeet - my timing feels off on the second shot of doubles
Running a Beretta A400 Xcel with a Skeet choke, shooting 1 oz of #9 at 1200 fps. I can break the first target from the high house cleanly, but when I swing back for the low house target in the double, I'm either rushing and missing behind or hesitating and missing in front. My hold point is just outside the window on the high house side. Anyone else struggle with this specific transition?

That's a classic Station 4 challenge - the high house target in the double is deceptively quick. Try moving your hold point for the first target a bit further toward the center stake, maybe 2 feet outside the window. This gives you a smoother, more controlled swing back to the low house target. Focus on seeing the first target break, then let your eyes pick up the low house target immediately - don't wait to see the result. What's your gun mount like on the second shot? Are you keeping your head down on the stock?
