Struggling with consistent leads on station 4 high house in American Skeet

Been shooting American Skeet for about 5 years, mostly with my Beretta A400 Xcel. I'm solid on most stations but station 4 high house gives me fits - sometimes I'm ahead, sometimes behind, and I can't find a consistent visual lead. I'm using Federal Top Gun 2.75" 1-1/8 oz #9 shot at 1200 fps with a Skeet choke. Anyone else have this issue or tips on what to focus on?

Station 4 high house is tricky because it's that perfect angle where the target looks like it's moving slower than it actually is. What helped me was focusing on the target's front edge rather than the whole clay - I visualize placing my pattern about 2 feet in front of that leading edge. Also, try keeping your gun moving through the shot instead of stopping your swing. What's your gun mount timing like on that station - are you mounted before calling pull?
